This Privacy Policy describes the personal data handling policies of Longevity Asset Advisors, LLC (“LAA”) in connection with its website located at https://longevityaa.com/ (the “Website”), and the provision of its software services (together with the Website, the “Services”) to its customers, who are life insurance agents and brokers, financial advisors, life settlement brokers, life settlement providers, life settlement servicers and other types of professional investors (“Insurance Professionals”). “User” means the personnel and representatives of the Insurance Professionals.
This Privacy Policy does not address the privacy practices of the Insurance Professionals and the personal data collected by Insurance Professionals from their individual insureds (hereinafter referred to as “Insureds”) or the personal health information collected by medical providers who may transfer personal information to us at the direction of Insurance Professionals pursuant to the Services. If you are an Insured whose Insurance Professional utilizes our Services, please understand that LAA and the Insurance Professional(s) are independent parties, and LAA has no control over the Insurance Professional’s (or any medical provider’s) privacy and data handling practices. Please review the privacy policy of such Insurance Professional to understand the Insurance Professional’s practices and direct any questions or concerns to the Insurance Professional contact. LAA will, however, cooperate with the Insurance Professional regarding queries from Insureds.

If you are an Insured, we use the personal data that Insurance Professionals provide to us or that we collect on behalf of Insurance Professionals to fulfill our contractual obligations to the Insurance Professionals as our customers, fulfill legal obligations we have to governmental authorities or other third parties, and for other legitimate business purposes.
LAA may share information with internal personnel and our affiliated companies. We may also share your personal data with third parties who perform services on our behalf, including without limitation our Website hosting providers, payment processors, technology service providers, contract vendors or service providers and professional advisors.
LAA shall remain liable under the DPF (see Section 6.b) Principles if any third party acting as LAA’s agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the DPF Principles.
We may disclose information if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary by law or the legal process, to protect and defend our or others’ interests or property, or to enforce agreements you enter into with us.

Performance of a contract. We need to collect and use a User’s personal information to enter into a contract with an Insurance Professional and to perform services requested by or on behalf of the Insurance Professional. We may need to collect and use an Insured’s personal information to perform Services for Insurance Professionals as our customers.
Legitimate Interests. We may use your personal information for our legitimate interests to provide and improve our Website and Services. We may use technical information as described in this Privacy Policy and use personal information for our marketing purposes consistent with our legitimate interests and any choices that we offer or consents that may be required under applicable law.
Compliance with Legal Obligations. We may use your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
We retain the personal data we collect for so long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected and to perform our contractual and legal obligations. Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing, we store email addresses of Users until the User requests to be unsubscribed.
We take reasonable administrative, physical and technical precautions to protect your personal data and communications between us. This includes, when required or as we deem appropriate and feasible under the circumstances, encryption and written commitments and certifications from third parties that may have access to your data that they will protect the data with reasonable safeguards.
As for payment cards for the purchase of Services, LAA does not retain payment card numbers. Rather LAA retains non-sensitive payment data, such as customer contact information, details of the Services purchased, and sufficient records of authorized credit transactions to verify payment.
No Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free, however. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security of your data, and we are not responsible for processes and networks that we do not control. Users assume the risk of security breaches and the consequences resulting from them. Please be careful in deciding what information you send to us via email or over the Internet.
